Origin

La Esmeralda is a world-renowned coffee estate situated at the foot of Volcán Barú in Boquete, western Panama.

In 2004, the estate submitted a Geisha variety to the Best of Panama competition and stunned the world with its overwhelming floral notes and clean cup profile.

Since then, it has been recognised as an iconic symbol of Geisha coffee and remains one of Panama's leading estates to this day.

This particular lot is grown in the Buenos Aires section of the Jaramillo estate. The high altitude, volcanic soil, and abundant mist and wind helps cultivate the distinctive, floral aroma characteristic of Geisha coffees.
